Annually, Lifebanc holds events that engage, educate, and empower our neighbors to make the decision to save lives. Our work in the community is more important than ever before! Our work is on behalf of the men, women, and children on the transplant list waiting for a lifesaving organ. They are our family members, our friends and our neighbors. Coming together to participate in an event provided support for those who have lost a loved one, hoping for a second chance at life, or celebrating renewed health. Gift of Life Walk & Run
Annually, Lifebanc hosts the Gift of Life Walk & Run, a celebration of lives healed and saved through organ, eye, and tissue donation. Hundreds of teams, families, and advocates come together to support Lifebanc through activities including a 5K race, family fun walk, and the moving Legacy Garden! The event is an incredible celebration of the Gift of Life! This year the GOLWR is on Sunday, August 13, 2023 at Blossom Music Center. Gates open at 7:30 a.m. The road inside Blossom closes at 8:30 a.m. 5k Race begins at 9 a.m. and walk follows at 9:15 a.m. The Legacy Garden closing ceremony will begin after all racers have returned, approximately at 10:30 a.m.
Hold an Event to Benefit Lifebanc
You can help Lifebanc save and heal lives and celebrate the gift of life by holding your own event. Lifebanc works with individuals who conduct various events to support the mission of Lifebanc. If you are interested in make a difference in our community by holding a third-party event to benefit Lifebanc, email a staff member who can help you with the process.
Lifebanc Over The Edge
Let’s raise organ, eye and tissue donation awareness to the sky … and then take it Over the Edge!
Over the Edge is an opportunity to take part in a thrilling adventure – rappelling down the side of the 23-story Oswald Building in Downtown Cleveland on Wednesday, May 24th – and to raise important funds and awareness for Lifebanc! This unique event is limited to the first 60 registrants who commit to a minimum fundraising total of $1,000.
